Very good points are made in this staff ed. Perhaps a bit strong right off the bat, which may turn off readers who are skeptical. Otherwise, good, thought-provoking points brought up.

2nd- The LCC Lookout Staff from Lansing Community College

Judge comments:

Good lead. Good facts on # of states left that tax these products and when the tax will be removed. From a "tell me something I don't know" perspective, you probably didn't need the info on when the menstrual cycle begins and ends (and blood lost in a lifetime). Why not how much money a woman spends on tax in her menstruation years? Or is these are non-essential -- how would we survive with out?
